Jessica Simpson
Jessica Ann Simpson is an American singer, actress, television personality and fashion designer whose rise to fame began in 1999. Since that time, Simpson has achieved many recording milestones, starred in several television shows, movies, and commercials, launched a line of hair and beauty products, and designed fragrances, shoes, and handbags for women. She has devoted time to philanthropic efforts including Operation Smile and a USO-hosted tour for troops stationed overseas.




She has achieved seven Billboard Top 40 hits, three gold and two multi-platinum Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified studio albums, four of which have reached the top 10 on the US Billboard 200. Simpson starred with her then-husband Nick Lachey in the MTV reality show Newly weds: Nick and Jessica. She ventured into the country music market in 2008 and released Do You Know.


Simpson has a total of records sales in Australia of more than 426,000 copies and was ranked in the #113 on the 1000 artists chart of Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Music Decade Charts (1980–2010).In 2009, Billboard named Simpson as the 95th overall best Artists of the Decade. Simpson also was ranked at number 86 on Billboard 200 Artists, based on album sales.

Jessica Simpson Opens Up: ‘Back in My Old Boots’

Jessica Simpson opens up to Glamour magazine and talks about her love Tony Romo, how he makes her feel good and inspired her to write a song ‘Back in My Old Boots’. Oh no romantic!! It’s LOOVE!!On reading the tabloids: "I'm not going to lie and say that I don't want to see Tony and me in the pictures. It is good airplane reading if you throw it away when you get off; I'm good at that. I am not the type of person who believes everything she reads, but I like to look at photos and see what people are wearing. That's interesting to me."

On the first time she saw Tony: "The cute story is that my family and I were watching a Cowboys game. I was going through my divorce and--Tony would die if I told you this--but [on television there was a story] about him. They said his celebrity dream crush was Jessica Simpson."

On how Tony makes her feel: "He's a motivational speaker. Because he's a quarterback, a leader. He keeps his team focused. What he's done for me is irreplaceable. I wrote a song for him called "Back in My Old Boots." I feel like I'm walking back in my old boots. Jessica Simpson didn't lose herself along the way. He reintroduced me to myself. I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change with the guys you date. [I thought] I had to be more intellectual. Come on--just be yourself! Tony taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again."

Jessica Simpson’s Hospitalization Scandal

Oh No! Jessica Simpson's recent hospital stay was triggered by more than just an "infection." A source says the singer was hospitalized after months of hard drinking with beau Tony Romo. Even more shocking, Jess asked for a pregnancy test!
Jessica was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. on March 28 and remained there for four days. Reps for the singer said she was being treated for a "kidney infection," but an insider reveals it was more than that. Jessica's health problems were "brought on by drinking an obscene amount of alcohol," says the source. "She was treated for a kidney infection, a bladder infection and a urinary tract infection."
Adding to her distress, anxious Jessica asked doctors to give her a pregnancy test! "She was a nervous wreck," says the insider. "She was three weeks late and convinced she was pregnant. She was feeling really weak and really scared. She was unraveling."
Ah that kinda makes sense in a sick way… Jessica has been having this strange behavior. It’s like sometimes she is in a trance!! Alcohol can do that to the little brain cells she might have!! :P

Jessica Simpson Strips on Cam for Boyfriend Tony Romo

Jessica Simpson is doing everything to keep the romance alive with Tony and she is not shy at all to show off on webcam just for him when they are apart.
The couple, who have been dating since November, are “avid iChat users” and Jess “isn’t shy about her body-or her dance moves,” a gushing spy reveals to Star Magazine.
“Jess has no problem showing Tony her favorite Pussycat Dolls routine….She will dance in front of her camera until she makes her man happy….She thinks it keeps the romance alive while they are far away from each other.”
“On occasion, Jess does get paranoid, making sure Tony doesn’t have any of his Cowboys buddies peeking in on the video show,” a Star source reveals.
Oh Jessica is getting into trouble… next time it’s gonna be her strip video to hit the web!! I think Tony would love to show off!!

Jessica Simpson Rushed to the Hospital With Kidney Infection

Jessica Simpson is at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles due to a small kidney infection, In Touch reports.
“She checked in on Friday morning because she was feeling achy and had a fever,” a friend of the family confirmed. Jessica was kept over the weekend for observations and is expected to be released Tuesday morning.
“She is doing fine, but she is ready to get out of there,” added the friend. And although Jessica’s boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys QB, Tony Romo wanted to be by her side, he had prior commitments in Dallas.
The story was confirmed by Jessica Simpson’s rep.

Jessica Simpson Secretly Married Tony Romo

For real!! Jessica Simpson's mother says her daughter has remarried. Jessica - who has been dating American football star Tony Romo since last November - was leaving Los Angeles restaurant Chili's with her mom Tina when Tina revealed the 27-year-old star has secretly wed.
When asked if Jessica was planning to marry Tony, Tina laughed: "Jessica is already married to Tony! What are you talking about?"
Jessica, who was previously married to singer Nick Lachey, giggled and added to TMZ.com: "Well I guess if my mom said it, it must be true!"
Earlier this year, Tony admitted he was thinking about marrying Jessica - but not yet. So I guess Jessica and Tony really took the big step, although their relationship seems as fake as Jessica Simpson’s breasts!
Congrats to the newlyweds!!

Jessica Simpson in Kuwait for ‘Operation MySpace’ (Photos)

Jessica performed a concert for the troops along with the Pussycat Dolls. Jess admitted, “I can’t wait for the show, it’s going to be a lot of fun.” But one thing that hasn’t been fun for the blonde? “I haven’t really got a lot of sleep, I gotta tell ya,” she said in jest before admitting that some of the soldiers would carry her on their shoulders during her performance of “Take My Breath Away.”
Meanwhile Jessica has been having a lot of fun getting to know our soldiers and sharing smiles and autographs with everyone.
