I'm getting super addicted to YouTube for some reason! lol My sister lives with me but she's leaving for the summer and I was thinking how bored I'm gonna be! I'm taking summer school but still wtf am I gonna do on my down time? But yeah I uploaded my first tutorial! I'm kinda frustrated because it's not as clear as I thought it would be? I used my sister's HD camcorder but it's not coming out right? I have no clue what I'm doing but she's taking her camera with her so I'm debating if I should buy a new camera. I want a cheap one but one that records in HD too! Do you guys have any suggestions? But I forgot to take pictures of this look so I can't post them here =[ But I'll post what I'm wearing!

My First Make-Up Tutorial!
FOTD: NYX Smokey Eye
I really liked how this look came out! I used the NYX Skintone base, but after I did it I thought maybe I should have used the white base to make the colors more vibrant but I'll try it again later. It reminds me of a toned down version of the MAC Satin Taupe/Carbon smokey eye that I did here. Of course it's not as pigmented. Again, maybe with the white it will! Oh and guess what? This is a mostly NYX look! I know, I know I always use MAC but I wanted to use my new stuff so I thought hey I can try to do an all NYX look! I still used my Blacktrack Fluidline and I wanted to try out the Stila liner I just got but for the most part it's NYX. =] I'm trying to branch out more so here's a start!

Under the shadows I'm gonna refer to the rows as A and B and the column as numbers. So the very first shadow is A1 and the very last is B5.

NYX 10-Color Eyeshadow Palettes & Eyeshadow Base
I went to Ulta recently to haul some NYX stuff! They're 10-Color Eyeshadow Palette was on sale for $7.49 [regular $9.99] plus you know they always have those $3.50 coupons! So you know I had to get some! Plus they're having buy 2 get 1 free on all NYX products! I'm not sure when the sale ends but I just went last weekend maybe? Anyway here's pics and swatches.

There were 4 different 10-color palettes and I think you can get them online at ulta.com but I'm pretty sure Cherry Culture sells them too. I think it's a steal for the price! On sale it comes out to 74 cents a shadow! Even at regular price it's still only $1 a shadow. I love the smokey eye palette just because most of the colors are wearable on a daily basis. I'm really pleased with how pigmented they are too!
So far I've only used the skintone colored base and I was surprised on how creamy it felt. I thought it would feel drier because it comes in a plastic container instead of glass but it's a really good consistency. The base holds up okay, I think I still need to test it more. Maybe I'll do a review on it! But check my next post for a FOTD using the smokey palette!
