When it's spinning smoothly, stare at the center of the spiral for about a minute.

Then look at the back of your hand...

It will appear to be twitching and moving, as though bugs were crawling under your skin!

Spinning Flowers Optical Illusion | Dizzyingly Beautiful Flowers

The flowers seem to rotate in this optical illusion because of the shading of the “petals.” The shading does not make sense. We cannot determine what direction the light source is coming from and try to adjust for it.
